We have always strived to be Vegan Friendly in everything we do. We have had customers ask us about honey soap and lip moisturizing creams. In an effort to please we searched high and low all throughout our fare Rhode Island for a local beekeeper. We have tasted and used honey from all over this little state and the Perfectly Natural Family and Friend Board is so pleased with Jeff and his honey that we decided he’s the one.
In February 2010 Jeff revealed to his customers that they now had a THIRD Certified Organic location for their honey bees. He admits that without lo-jack it’s hard to track the whereabouts of every bee however this is just another way Jeff and his amazing company Aquidneck Honey are bringing us the highest quality, pesticide free, and purest honey possible.
Beekeepers offer pure honey, direct from the hive with no middle man business. The bees make it and Jeff our beekeeper. J I have a beekeeperJ Love it!! jars it. Aquidneck honey offers a complete honey, with pollen grains and enzymes that the bees produce locally. This gives us a heavenly honey with all of the natural enzymes, pollen, vitamins, minerals and amino acids. Why is that so special? When you purchase honey that is processed commercially, it is finely filtered and heated. Filtering removes most pollen particles and the heat can change the color, taste and destroy vitamins. Additives have even been discovered in commercially processed honey found in stores. As for us we will now and always GO LOCAL BEEKEEPER!!

For all of our Vegan friends out there what does this mean? We still love you and our soap is still the same wonderful soap it has always been we are introducing a few new products with honey in them these honey products are made with designated equipment and on designated days we have eliminated the chance of cross contamination for you. As far as our lip moisturizing cream is concerned we will be introducing a new vegan friendly line before Christmas along with our lotion bars.

Side note: Jeff was absolutely wonderful with his bee removal services this past weekend when my mom had a troublesome nest. Jeff was very quick to fit us into his busy schedule we called on Saturday and he came out on Sunday. The cost of his services was well worth it!!! We thank you Jeff for removing our dangerous killer swarm. It is now safe to be outside.
